"Hi everyone at BPT Harley, Bought 04 low rider from you guys 2 weeks ago. My sales person was Ted, he was awsome was upfront no B.S from the start. Told him i was interested in the low rider went over bike with me and said I'll take it . He said"boy you kidding wabout buying a bike". Did financing which was painless and took 5 mins. Then Ted hooked me up with insurence agin painless and about 5 mins which saved me 300 bucks, so had to get pipes on her ( thanks to the wife) . Also had bike droped off because was going away for week, called Ted on Friday asked was all set and he asked how my vacation was, thought that was cool, not like the experience i had at local dealer.And the bike was dropped off on time with full tank of gas . I wanted to take this opportunity to express my satisfaction regarding the above. I have been a customer at Bridgeport Harley for many years now. Recently, I had another issue with my starter. I called the service department and talked with Ms. Laurie Ferriero. I advised her that my starter was malfunctioning and would attempt to get the bike there for service. After determining that the bike was located nearby, Ms. Ferriero said that she didn’t want me to risk being stuck on the highway and stated a representative would come and pick the bike up at no charge. I was impressed with Ms. Ferriero being concerned with my safety and well-being. The service manager Ed Grindrod took the time to research the bike’s history and diagnose the starter issue. He made suggestions to me concerning my problem and a solution.
Your service department’s support reaffirms my position that the people at Bridgeport Harley are truly advocates for the customer. Longrider Pete, Shirley Zoeller, and all the rest of the wonderful people who represent your company are the best in the industry as far as I’m concerned.

"Back in October of 07,my brother, his wife, and my brother-in-law came in to Bpt Harley and bought 3 brand new 08 Harley's on the same day. Of course I went with them but I was not financially ready to buy one myself, although I wanted one real bad. The three of them dealt with Dave Schmeer. I was very impressed with Dave when he sold my family their bikes and even though I was not financially ready, I still spoke with Dave and never once did he pressure me do try to buy at that time, he said just come in when you are ready. I liked the way Dave treated the family so I was sure I would go back when ready and deal with Dave. Well I am writing this one day after delivery of my new 08 Road King Classic, 3/29/08. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Bpt Harley, their entire staff. Right from walking in the door you are greeted with a very warm smile and welcome. Most of all, Dave Schmeer is the best sales person I have ever worked with on any major purchase. He is so very professional, courteous and Dave covers every detail of the purchase making every thing so crystal clear so there is no confusion at all. "I had some work done to my 2007 Deluxe a few weeks ago, when i came down to take a look at it, i was greeted by the Service Manger (Frank) he brought me out to my bike and explained the work that i had just had done. I loved it! then Frank showed me some other options that i could do to really spice the bike up, well i've spent another 1500.00 on my bike and i'm happier then ever. "I stopped by the dealership on Sunday Jan. 6th to get a gift for my girlfriend. Maryanne your clothing girl was very helpful. "Melissa is a very valuable employee. She is very customer service oriented, and went out of her way to help me. I live in California, and went to our local HD store, looking for a Christmas gift for my brother-in-law in Danbury. Their selection of apparel was limited, so I resorted to on-line shopping. I found what I wanted, only to find out it was only available in store....dilemma. Found your store to be closest to my family, so I called and explained my situation to Melissa. She asked what I had been looking for,I told her I had the item number, and she offered to not only find it for me, but to ship it to my sister. "We just visited BDPT H.D. Today for the first time. We made our purchase at another dealer but that didn't matter to this dealership.From the time we walked in the door it was like we had been customers for years. "I am a first time rider and buyer. I knew exactly what I wanted in a motorcycle. It had to be HD. I shopped around at a few dealerships in my area not really to impressed. I viewed it like I was going to a car dealership. We all know how that goes. I spoke with some family members who have had HD all their lives, they said go to BPT HD. "i needed to replace my foam for my badlander glasses becuase of my dog , and pretty much every dealer told me that they were discoutinued and that was discouraging . but when i walked into bp harley and melissa said can i help you find something i gave it one more shot and to my surprise she found them in new york . there are other dealers out there that would love to sell you a new item but bp seems to like to please their customers and let me tell you that if i need something that i will travel to bp to see if i can get it ."

"I've been coming to Bgpt. Harley for a few years now. dealing with the parts and service depts. After a Sturgis trip last year, I decided to upgrade from my 2002 Heritage Classic to a 2007 Road King Classic. I stopped and talked with every dealer we passed along the way. I knew Dave Schmeer from the parts dept. When he moved to Motorcyle Sales I told him I wanted to buy a new bike. He told me he would give me the best deal I would find anywhere. I came in a few times and bent Dave's ear and kicked tires, Dave always made time to talk to me knowing I wasn't ready yet. Then I went in to buy fuel stabilizer, and there it was....a Black Cherry Pearl 2007 Road King! I called Dave over, and after some discusion with Dave and Ryan, Dave did exactly what he said he would do. He and Ryan went "above the call" All the people at Bdgpt. Harley are great, Parts, Service or Motorclothes you won't find a better group of people anywhere!!!"

"The exact bike I wanted was right there on the floor, my credit report was back within 2 hours, put a deposit down the next day, and 4 days later I was riding home on my new Street Bob! The bike was literally still in the box, and within 4 days it was ready to ride home with nearly $2000 worth of extras on it. All that in 4 days, done in the middle of May, when I'm sure biz is booming... just outstanding!!! This is my 2nd HD, the 1st bought at another place. Over the years, Bpt HD has always had the parts I was looking for, and now after purchasing a bike from them... why go anywhere else? An A+ overall experience. "I am responding to your request for feedback regarding my recent service experience. Your staff continues to provide what I consider "first class" service. Although the pick up of my motorcycle was later than was scheduled, after I called to inquire about it, not only did you send someone to pick it up but called me to assure it was completed. The next day I also received a call back apologizing for missing the pick up as well as arranging to have the bike delivered back to me. All in all I am very satisfied with the level and quality of service your dealership delivers and I also want to mention that Paul my service adviser was extremely professional and helpful.

"I believe that overall your the best HD dealer in Connecticut! I bought my 05 RKClassic from you for two reasons: You rent Harleys, so I was able to try the exact model before I bought it, and you were $1000 cheaper than a dealer closer to me in central CT on the exact same bike! I had a tranny leak, service did an excellent repair in one visit and it was ready before the promised date. The "only" fault I can find with Bridgeport HD is like the other guy said, you don't have as many parts and acc. in stock as the "other" dealer, nobody's perfect."

Al, thanks for the ratings. To explain the reason some parts you want need to be special ordered. Well, it depends on the time of the year. The motorcycle business is becoming more seasonal. Therefore in the slow months we do in fact carry less inventory in order to keep employees. It is more of a business decision that we decided was good for us. With the number of accessories that Harley-Davidson carries it, it is a good business practice to carry top sellers. Then to have funds tied up in inventory, that doesn't move till the warmer months. Giving us 5 Stars in other departments, it seems this practice does work for us. For it is our employees that earned the 5 Stars.

Bridgeport HD is the only place we shop, we visit lots, if were out of state we'll purchase a t shirt, but Brideport has treated us so GREAT we tell everyone to go there. Everyone who works ther is so nice, they always greet us by name and make you feel like your family!!!(with 1 exception, the new guy in parts needs a little attitude adjustment, He's not Brideports normal high standard employee! maybe you guys can whip him into shape!!!! untill he's more cordial we'll just avoid him. sorry had to say that) other than him,
